Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
If you're looking to clean up your mess quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I've tested have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds with out leaving them behind.
You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the top robot vacuum and mop combination that has cutting-edge features you should consider the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line model is fast and nimble, picking up debris like human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek app interface with a mini map of your home and a few on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
Another standout feature is the S8's ability to alter its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given the first priority when mopping with a damp mopping pad.
It's got a host of other smart features also, including an alternative dock that connects to your plumbing to wash and clean the mop roller, without having you to refill it manually. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to set rooms cleaning options and precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
If you're looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It's among the many combination robot vacuums that have mops that are also available at a lower cost than the competition.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including setting up an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the machine will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process may take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate image of your room. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a looser rug with tassels and required a flip to get it out of the way. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those who want an all-in-one solution for cleaning.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This results in floors being cleaned, not just swept. robot vacuum cleaners that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums can't.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and other smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the mop and vacuum robot return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins, and place the debris into a self sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is sufficient to remove large areas without the need for the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It has a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle avoidance. It also has an innovative mopping technique that utilizes a roller continuously sprayed with water to collect dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without crashing and avoiding stairs. However, it did struggle with fine-grained debris and didn't always get rid of raised thresholds for rooms. Its operating noise level is also very high, which means this model may not be as easy to set and forget as other models.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. vacuum bot makes maintenance easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors according to a routine schedule. You can control all of its functions through the Eufy app, which provides a clear overview and plenty of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and it provides an impressive mix of mopping and vacuuming performance. The LIDAR mapping sensors can detect furniture legs, obstacles and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. vacuum bot allows users to fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones and modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This is a major problem with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too it comes with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, lifting these pads upward when they're in proximity to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating the carpet.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free center for maintenance, automatically washing and drying the mops, and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they are empty.
6. S10
This robot is only a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a fantastic job of keeping my home office tidy. It also has the ability to reach the corners of my tiny apartment. It makes use of laser mapping and a camera to create a map of your area and knows where to stay away from. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.
It also comes with other notable features, like a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can get to places that other mops can't reach. You can also alter the settings for each room and set up cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between carpets, laminate and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It also lets you skip cleaning rooms that aren't clean if you want to reduce time. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and do not want to invest the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It has a wide range of features, including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, the water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and can maneuver around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's unable to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains more quickly than other models we tried.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a slick design. It wasn't as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests however, it did quite well. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It will even remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in small areas. It is very fast and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces well. It also does a very excellent job of pulling pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it's possible to take a picture of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app, so that they don't get picked up during future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and not connected to your account.
It does a great job of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
